Whitetop Mountain Band je rodinná kapela pochádzajúca z oblasti Whitetopu, najvyšších hôr vo Virdžínii. Tento región je známy svojou tradíciou ku bluegrassovej a old-timovej hudbe a táto kapela má hlboké korene práve v tejto horskej hudbe. Členovia kapely sú učiteľmi a rozširovateľmi práve husľového a bendžového old-timového štýlu tohto regiónu. Okrem iného je kapela jednou z najpopulárnejších tanečných formácií z apalačských hôr.
